Ingredients

  • 1 lbs Chicken wings
  • 1 cup Maple syrup
  • ¼ cup Chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • To a small saucepan over medium heat, add the maple syrup, chili sauce, and butter. Stir until the butter has melted and the sauce is well combined.
  • In a large bowl, toss the hot wings with the baking powder and salt.
  • Arrange the chicken wings and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • After 10-15 minutes, remove from the air fryer and coat with the glaze.
  • Air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the chicken wings are cooked through.

Notes

About the sauce:  The key to the perfect glaze is all in the reduction; you want a thick, syrupy consistency that coats the wings and doesn't run off. This should take 3-5 minutes on medium heat.
