Ginger and Green Onion Stir fried Oysters

Green onion and ginger stir fried oysters is a classic dish that is simple to make and full of flavor. The key to this dish is to freshness of the ingredients. Serve with rice or noodles and this dish is sure to please any seafood lover!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb Canned oysters (or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp Avocado oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • ½ inch Ginger
  • 2 Red chillis
  • 4 Green onions
  • ½ tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Begin the recipe by peeling and dicing the garlic and ginger. Set aside in a bowl.
  • Slice the chillis and grren onions into thin strips and add to the bowl with the garlic and ginger.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, ginger, chillis and green onion and stir fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the oysters to the skillet and stir fry for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and stir fry for an additional minute.
  • Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

Note: If cooking with fresh oysters, always follow proper food safety guidelines when cooking and handling oysters. It is recommended to cook oysters thoroughly until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Use a food thermometer to check the temperature.
