Air Fryer Pound Cake

Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 oz unsalted butter
  • 8 oz white granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup confectionars sugar
  • 3 tbs lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the airfryer to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cream the butter and sugar into a mixing bowl until fluffy using a stand mixer or hand mixer.
  • Add in each egg one at a time until fully combined.
  • Slowly add in the vanilla extract into the mixing bowl and mix again until smooth.
  • Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt slowly while mixing on low speed to avoid spraying ingredients everywhere.
  • Lightly butter the pound cake pan, pour batter into it and air fry for 1 hour 10 minutes on 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • After it has cooked, use a toothpick to check the doneness of the pound cake before removing from air fryer, making sure it comes out clean.
  • Mix together the confectioners sugar and lemon juice.
  • Pour it on top of the cake. Let it cool and enjoy!
