AIR FRYER FRENCH TOAST

This is probably one of my favourite recipes for the air fryer! The outside gets nice and crispy while the inside stays soft and fluffy

KEY Ingredient

Brioche 

INGREDIENTS:

Eggs Brioche  Spray oil White sugar Cinnamon Vanilla extract Nutmeg Heavy Cream

1. Whisk together the eggs, cream, nutmeg and vanilla extract in a large bowl until well combined.

2. In a small bowl, stir together the granulated sugar and cinnamon powder to make a coating for the French toast pieces.

3. Place the brioche bread slices into the egg mixture and let them soak for 2-3 minutes so that they are completely coated.

4. Dredge each soaked piece of bread through the sugar/spice mixture until evenly coated on all sides, then place it in the air fryer basket in an even layer (you may need to do this in batches).

6. Spray the tops of the French toast slices with a bit of spray oil, then cook for 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
