Ingredients
  

  • 1 Salmon sushi (store bought) (roughly 5 inches)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup Sparklingly water
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 3 cups Vegetable oil for frying
  • Pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce, for serving (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • To make the tempura batter, combine the flour, salt and sparkling water in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add enough oil to coat the bottom.
  • Dip each piece of salmon sushi into the tempura batter, making sure to coat evenly.
  • Carefully place the salmon sushi in the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
  • Serve with pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
