  • 8 Fresh sardines (halved, deheaded)
  • 1.5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Dried rosemary
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Lemon zest (1 lemon)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 385 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • While the air fryer is preheating, rinse the sardines and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Zest a lemon into a small bowl. Add the salt, olive oil, rosemary, garlic powder, and black pepper, and mix until well combined.
  • Rub the lemon mixture all over the sardines.
  • Oil the air fryer basket with a pastry brush.
  • Place the sardines in the air fryer basket and cook for 7 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges if desired.
