Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pre-made pizza dough
  • ½ cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Egg (egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 Basil leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 330°F
  • Divide the dough into roughly 13 balls and set aside.
  • Get each ball in your hand one by one and poke an (almost) hole in the centre of each and stretch them out to form a donut-like shape.
  • Place about ½ teaspoon of pizza sauce sauce, followed by approximately 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the centre of each ball.
  • Gently seal the edges of each ball and place in the shape of a Christmas tree in the preheated air fryer basket.
  • Brush each ball with egg wash and cook in your preheated air fryer for 8-10 minutes.
  • Once the pizza bread has lightly browned, remove the basket from your air fryer and brush melted butter over the top of each ball.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder and basil leaves for additional flavor, if desired.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for future use.
