  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F.
  • Season the chicken drumsticks with avocado oil, salt, black pepper, dried parsley and garlic powder. Mix together.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket. Cook for 18 minutes. Turn it around midway to ensure the chicken cooks evenly.
  • Remove air fried chicken and brush on the BBQ sauce before returning them back into the air fryer basket - make sure all sides are covered and air fry again for a further 5 minutes on 400°F.
  • Once it comes out of the air fryer, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F.
  • The air fryer BBQ chicken is now ready to serve and enjoy with any desired sides!
