Preheat your air fryer to 300°F.
Cut the top off of the onion and peel away the skin.
Slice the onion into 8 wedges, leaving it attached at the root end.
In a bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until blended.
Place 2 tbs of the flour mixture into the wet mixture and whisk.
First dip the onion carefully into the dry mixture, then the wet mixture and back into the dry mix.
When you are doing so make sure each petal is evenly coated.
Get an a4 piece of foil and fold it up to make a sling that you will lower the onion into the air fryer on.
Place the onion in the air fryer basket, spray generously and cook for 22 minutes.
When done cooking, remove from air fryer and serve.
