Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Yellow onion Large
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs Beaten
  • ½ cup Milk
  • Spray oil
  • Dip of your choice (ketchup, ranch dressing, etc.)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F.
  • Cut the top off of the onion and peel away the skin.
  • Slice the onion into 8 wedges, leaving it attached at the root end.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until blended.
  • Place 2 tbs of the flour mixture into the wet mixture and whisk.
  • First dip the onion carefully into the dry mixture, then the wet mixture and back into the dry mix.
  • When you are doing so make sure each petal is evenly coated.
  • Get an a4 piece of foil and fold it up to make a sling that you will lower the onion into the air fryer on.
  • Place the onion in the air fryer basket, spray generously and cook for 22 minutes.
  • When done cooking, remove from air fryer and serve.
