Preheat your air fryer to 400F. (Do not miss out the step!)
Grease the ramekins with butter, then add freshly boiled hot water until they are half full.
Carefully crack the eggs into the ramekins and season with salt & pepper to taste.
Place both ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes at 400F, or until desired doneness is reached (5 minutes will give you runny yolks, 8 minutes for firm).
Once done cooking, carefully remove from the basket and carefully drain out any excess water before serving warm with toast or a side salad!
