Aldi’s “Ultimate Christmas Dinner in a Box” Is Back — and It’s Priced at £25

As Christmas Day approaches and hosting pressure builds, Aldi has brought back its Ultimate Christmas Dinner in a Box, offering a simplified route to a traditional festive meal — this time priced at £25.

Sold under Aldi’s Specially Selected range, the box combines several core elements of a Christmas dinner into one purchase. Packaging highlights a stuffed turkey breast wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes, carrots, pigs in blankets, and gravy, with everything pre-prepared and portioned to reduce planning and prep time.

The appeal lies in convenience. Rather than managing multiple shopping trips or worrying about missing ingredients, the box provides the foundations of a festive meal in one go. Shoppers say it’s particularly useful for smaller households, couples, or first-time hosts who want a traditional dinner without the scale of a full turkey and extensive sides.

The box has also gained attention from those with limited kitchen or oven space. Many of the components are designed to cook together or be reheated easily, making it easier to stagger cooking times in a single oven or combine oven cooking with an air fryer or hob.

At £25, Aldi positions the box as a mid-range option — cheaper than buying premium festive items individually, but more complete than basic frozen alternatives. While it may not replace every element of a large Christmas spread, it significantly reduces the number of additional items shoppers need to source.

As with most Aldi seasonal lines, availability varies by store and stock is limited. Shoppers hoping to pick one up are being advised to check early rather than assume it will still be available closer to Christmas Eve.

For hosts looking to keep costs down while minimising stress, Aldi’s £25 Christmas Dinner in a Box offers a practical, no-fuss alternative to traditional festive cooking.
