These air fryer jalapeno cream cheese bacon roses are the perfect Valentines Day treat. They’re easy to make, and they look gorgeous! The combination of smoky bacon, spicy jalapenos, and creamy cheese makes for a delicious bite-sized snack. Plus, your guests will be sure to love them!

Ingredients

– 8 slices of thin-cut bacon (about 2 ounces)

– 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh jalapeño peppers

– ½ teaspoon garlic powder

– ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cut the bacon into thirds, and then cut each piece in half again to create 12 small pieces of bacon.

3. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until combined.

4. Take one piece of bacon at a time and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on top. Roll up the bacon tightly so it resembles a rosebud shape, tucking in any excess cheese if needed. Place seam-side down onto a plate or cutting board while you make the rest.

Recipe Tips:

– If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also bake them in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes. Just keep an eye on them and turn them over halfway through baking time.

– You can substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if desired.

– Feel free to adjust the spiciness of this dish by increasing or decreasing the amount of jalapeños used.

– Leftover roses can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Substitution Ideas:

– Substitute the jalapeños for your favorite hot pepper, such as habanero or serrano.

– Add in some shredded cheese to the cream cheese mixture for extra cheesy roses.

– Try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for added heat.

– Replace the bacon with prosciutto for an Italian twist.

– Swap out the smoked paprika for chili powder or garlic powder if desired.

A: These air fryer jalapeño cream cheese bacon roses can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat them briefly in the air fryer before serving.
