Anything smothered in some kind of BBQ sauce is sure to be a hit. BBQ pork chops cooked in your air fryer are no exception! This quick and easy recipe can be ready in under 15 minutes with hardly any mess.

These chops are juicy, tender and full of delicious seasonings and a perfect weekenight meal. You can serve your air fryer BBQ pork chops with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables or a simple salad for a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pork shoulder steaks
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon dried garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon five spice blend
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

  • ½ cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

1. Mix the dry rub ingredients and chopped fresh coriander together in a bowl then coat both sides of the pork steaks with it. Place them in a shallow dish and set aside for 10 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse into the meat.

2. In a separate bowl, mix together all the BBQ sauce ingredients until combined. Set aside.

3. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
