6 Asda Groceries That Are Still Under £2.50 Despite Inflation

With prices creeping up everywhere, it’s easy to feel like nothing is affordable these days. I’ve been keeping an eye on Asda to see which grocery items are still budget-friendly despite inflation making things more expensive. It’s good to know some staples haven’t shot up in price too much.

If you’re wondering which Asda groceries are still under £2.50, I’ve found six products that fit the bill without compromising on quality or value. Shopping on a budget doesn’t mean you have to miss out, and these picks prove that well.

Asda Baked Beans – 23p

I can’t believe how cheap Asda baked beans are right now. At just 23p a tin, it’s a solid bargain, especially with inflation pushing prices up everywhere.

These beans have always been my go-to, whether for a quick snack or part of breakfast. The price drop from 40p to 23p is a nice saving. You can check the deal on Asda baked beans here.

Dolmio Bolognese 450g – £1.50

I love keeping a jar of Dolmio Bolognese sauce in my cupboard. It’s handy for quick meals and tastes just right without costing much.

At £1.50, it’s one of those bargains I don’t mind stocking up on. It’s mostly made of veggies and gives a decent hit of flavour.

If you want to grab one, you can find it at Asda for this price, which makes dinner a bit easier and cheaper. Check it out here.

Asda Strawberries 400g – £2.00

I’ve found Asda’s 400g strawberries to be a solid pick when I want something fresh without spending too much. They’re usually priced around £2.00, which feels reasonable given how inflation’s pushed fruit prices up elsewhere.

The berries taste ripe and sweet enough for snacking or popping into my morning yoghurt. Ordering them online is easy and I often go for click and collect to save time. You can check out more details on Asda’s strawberries here.

Asda Chicken Breasts (small pack) – £2.40

I’ve found the small pack of Asda chicken breasts is a handy, budget-friendly option. At £2.40, it’s still under £2.50 despite the usual price hikes.

It’s perfect for quick meals, and you don’t have to worry about excess leftovers. You can buy it easily for home delivery or collect it from store if you prefer. Check out more details on the Asda Groceries site.

Asda Bread Rolls – £1.00

I always find Asda bread rolls pretty handy, especially when I’m on a budget. For just around £1, you get six soft white rolls that are perfect for a quick snack or to go with dinner.

They’re surprisingly fresh and soft, which makes them a solid choice if you want something simple without spending much. You can check them out at Asda Groceries if you want to order online.

Asda Carrots 1kg – £1.00

I always like to keep a bag of Asda Carrots handy. At just £1.00 for 1kg, it feels like a good deal, especially when prices are climbing elsewhere.

They’re great for snacking, cooking, or adding to salads. Plus, they last well in the fridge.

If you want to check them out, you can find Asda Grower’s Selection Carrots online for delivery or click and collect.
