4 Aldi Groceries That Beat Name Brands for Half the Price

Shopping on a budget can be tricky, especially when you want quality without paying a fortune. I’ve found that Aldi offers some real gems that rival the big-name brands we usually reach for.

What’s great is that these Aldi products don’t just save you money—they often taste just as good or even better. It’s worth knowing which items give you the best bang for your buck without compromising on quality.

Belmont Ice Cream – delicious flavours that rival Ben & Jerry’s

I’ve tried Belmont Ice Cream from Aldi, and honestly, the flavours stand up well against Ben & Jerry’s. The variety, like Brookie Dough or Moose Tracks, tastes rich and creamy without the hefty price tag.

It’s made by House of Flavors, a Michigan-based company known for quality. For around half the cost, Belmont gives you great value and flavour that doesn’t feel cheap.

If you love premium ice cream but want to save a bit, Belmont is definitely worth a go. Check out more about Belmont’s maker here.

Milbona Butter – creamy and half the price of big brands

I’ve found Milbona butter from Aldi really surprising. It’s creamy and smooth, perfect for spreading or cooking.

What I like most is the price – it’s about half the cost of many big-name butters.

It’s great value without feeling like you’ve sacrificed quality. You can check out its availability in store here.

Choceur Peanut Butter Cups – a sweet treat that beats Cadbury

I’ve found Choceur Peanut Butter Cups at Aldi to be a great alternative to Cadbury’s versions. The chocolate has a rich, smooth taste without being too sweet. The peanut butter filling feels fresh and creamy, making each bite really satisfying.

What’s even better is the price. These cups often cost about half as much as big-name brands but still deliver plenty of flavour. If you’re after a tasty treat without the high cost, Choceur is worth a try. You can check them out here.

Simply Nature Organic Fruit Snacks – tasty and budget-friendly

I’ve found Simply Nature Organic Fruit Snacks to be a nice go-to when I want something sweet but healthy. They’re made with real fruit puree and come without artificial colours or flavours, which I really appreciate.

The price is hard to beat, especially compared to name brands. They’re perfect for packing in lunchboxes or grabbing on the run. Aldi’s range of these fruit snacks is definitely worth trying if you want quality without spending too much. You can check them out on Aldi’s site for more details.
